Geographical and natural origin of Moroccan eucalyptus honey
The eucalyptus tree is widespread in southern Europe and northern Africa, particularly in Morocco, where this honey comes from.
The tree flowers in autumn, allowing bees to collect pollen.
as Morocco has the advantage of an impressive supply of eucalyptus trees, harvests are regular and abundant, making this honey a delicacy easily accessible to the average person.
Eucalyptus is a surprising tree: it exists both as a bush and a shrub!
In fact, there are many different species of eucalyptus, identified by their bark, and the flowers that grow there can be of various colors: white, cream, pink and red
to produce this monofloral honey.
Used in confectionery of all kinds, as well as in certain chocolates, eucalyptus is much appreciated the world over.

Eucalyptus honey has a very pleasant taste, is not acidic and has a relatively low glycemic index, making it suitable for diabetics.
Medium-bodied, its taste is quite unique, its texture rather creamy and consistent, coupled with a color that can be dark brown, greenish, sometimes light yellow, this is a honey that will delight all gourmets.
How to use Moroccan eucalyptus honey
Eucalyptus honey is widely used in oriental pastries, where its distinctive flavor enhances the taste of cakes.
It is also used to enhance savory dishes, an ideal blend of sweet and savory.
But if there's one use for eucalyptus honey, it's in herbal teas, where its minty aroma gives a soft, pleasant sensation.
We therefore recommend you use this honey in your herbal teas, but make sure they don't exceed 40 degrees, otherwise all the benefits of the honey will be in vain.
How to store honey
Keep it out of the sun, and away from any source of heat.
Above 40 degrees, it will lose its therapeutic benefits and taste qualities.
It's also best not to store it in damp conditions. A dry, well-insulated place is ideal.
Indeed, humidity greatly alters the quality of this honey by increasing its moisture content, which should not exceed 17-18%.
Above this humidity level, the honey's fermentation process would begin. Of course, we do not recommend consuming honey that has fermented, although there is no evidence that this is harmful to human health.
Your honey may crystallize, in which case a few minutes in a bain-marie will restore its natural liquid texture, without altering any of its intrinsic qualities.
