Cow's, goat's and sheep's milk are all products we're used to eating. Or at least, to see them on our supermarket shelves. But have you ever heard of camel milk powder? Better still, have you ever consumed it?

If not, let us introduce you to this product with its many benefits, which everyone should know about. Even lactose-intolerant people..

Camel milk powder: the future is on the march

What if camel milk were to become commonplace on our shelves and in our consumer habits? Well, yes! Numerous media outlets, such as the Washington Post, explain how this dairy product could well explode sales in the years to come.

It's important to remember, however, that its consumption is nothing new. At least on the other side of the Mediterranean.

Camelids have been domesticated for thousands of years. Bedouins and nomadic peoples used to consume this dairy on their travels. Highly nutritious, it enabled herders to survive for up to a month in the absence of other foodstuffs.

But that's not all. This drink has the advantage of being much easier to digest than other animal milks. Add to this the fact that it contains 3 times more vitamin C and 10 times more iron than cow's milk. In short, it's a real discovery not to be missed!

Your Miel Impérial boutique offers whole camel milk powder, 100% natural, pasteurized, sold in 100g sachets. Excellent quality, for a product of choice!

Camel milk powder: a stunning beauty product!

Amazing, but far from new! So, if you think you've invented something, let us refresh your memories. After all, this dairy product was known as far back as Ancient Egypt. And some people didn't hesitate to opt for camel milk baths back then.

The benefits of camel milk are many and varied:

  • Restorative properties thanks to its high vitamin content
  • Compatible with sensitive and fragile skin
  • Renowned for toning and regenerating the skin
  • Makes skin clearer, brighter and softer
  • Acts as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and impurities
  • Against UV rays
  • The lanolin in this freeze-dried milk helps moisturize dry skin

As well as being much easier to find and store, this powdered milk also makes it easy to prepare recipes! Now it's your turn to create beauty masks and moisturizing baths!

The white gold of the desert certainly has a lot to offer..

How to prepare camel milk powder?

Let's get down to business. Now that we're convinced of the virtues of this dairy product, it's time to taste it!

So let's get to tasting:

Recipe for one glass

  1. First, heat some water and fill the glass*
  2. Then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of camel milk powder
  3. Mix thoroughly with a spoon or blender
  4. Your delicious natural hot drink is ready! You can add a teaspoon of lime-blossom honey for a deliciously sweet, floral aroma.

*You can also use cold water, although you'll need to blend more.

Of course, this recipe can be adapted according to the quantity to be prepared. If there's more than one glass to serve, we recommend putting everything in a blender. That way, you won't have to stir as long, and you'll also get a delicious mousse!

Storage

Available in powder form, this dairy product is much easier to store than a fresh product. In fact, it is heat-resistant, and easily withstands pasteurization.

We advise you to keep it dry, carefully resealing the sachet after each use. Do not expose to light, as this will impair its quality.

Camel milk bath: Simply mix 30 ml of camel milk into your bath. You can also add a few essential oils to promote relaxation. For example, sweet orange or Roman chamomile.

What about lactose-intolerant people?

Good news for you! This product is easier to tolerate. In addition to being much more nutritious than cow's milk, it contains no whey protein. These are at the root of dairy allergies.

What's more, it's low in lactose and very low in fat, making it easily digestible.

And if you're still a little skeptical, don't hesitate to discover camel hump fat. A cosmetic that won't give you a tummy ache, and can soothe your aching muscles! Camelids are definitely hiding a lot from us..
